the e.n.d is finally here...
the wait is over...
its the beginning of a new era...
this is the era where the fans are connected to the artist...
"no middle man"
we will show how we will continue to upload songs, blogs, and bring the fan closer than ever before...
its a new era...
mobile uploads...
internet connectivity...
we are the now generation!!!
i wish i had the ability to contact "de la soul" directly when i was growing up as a fan...

i remember wanting to write a fan letter..
i remember going to a record store to by albums...
i remember cassette tapes...
8 years ago there was a "warehouse music, sam goody, tower records, virgin mega store"...
now there is "mega" change...the new technology has fucked the music industry so they are no longer "virgins"...our "towers" have crumbled...where is the house of music???...and sam is not that goody goody about songs anymore...
can you belive that 8 years ago google wasnt really the google we know today...?...
can you believe that just 4 years ago there was no "youtube".?.
things have changed...
the kids today have grown up with computers, mobile phones, internet, blogging, sharing, etc...
its old technology versus new...
these kids have made obama our president...
these kids are partially responsible for the closing of record stores...
its a new era...
should we stop making music...?...
"no!!"
music is energy...
the energy never dies
we celebrate the new age...
we try to figure out what the new business around this cool experience....
its a day where "me" as a member of the black eyed peas is connected to "you" the fans directly...
its a day where we can release an "album" and always update it...
this is our musical journal...
its not a album...
its a sonic diary...
its the end of yesterday...
and the beginning of tomorrow...

You are a visionary, I lived back in the "day" I worked at Sam Goody for 5 years....I so envy the youth of today and how they are so connected to EVERYTHING...it's all in reach through technology...I think "my god, to have had this access to the music scene back then.." But this now...I am older and sometimes feel silly about being such a passionate fan and my obession now is BEP....but I can't help it...it's all so exciting to finally feel like I have a community to relate to and this freakin' DipDive thing of yours is blowing my mind.....Thank you for your generosity in sharing your art, your music, your passions and yourself to us all, especially, me.
